TWO WEEKENDS OF ALL OUT RACING
Praga South Africa will face two back to back weekends of action packed racing at iDube Raceway, starting with the Rotax Max National this Saturday (10 August 2019) and the SA Rok Cup on the 17th.
Although not their home track, Praga drivers have completed test sessions at the track and are feeling confident.
Mohammed Moerat will be hoping to lead the Micro Max charge and improve on his fourth place in the championship standings. He took a race win in PE earlier this year, so definitely has the pace to be a front runner.
Erich Heystek has also shown tremendous Micro Max pace this season and is likely to run within the top 5. He will be going all out to secure a podium finish this weekend. Erich is currently 7th in the point’s table.
It will be Tyler Stephen’s first race with Praga. She will be competing in Mini Max and will be using the event to find her feet in the kart, after testing with it for the first time on Wednesday.
Dane van Heerde has had some bad luck this season, especially in the National series. We have, however, seen that he has what it takes to run with the Senior Max front runners and this will be his ultimate goal on Saturday. At the moment, Dane is 10th in the championship, but is expected to climb up the point’s ladder.
Praga South Africa would like to wish all the hard working karting moms and all “lady racers” a very Happy Women’s Day.
